Do parrots have some natural resistance to all the junk they chew on?
Plastic, wood, paper, furniture, cobwebs, bronze off mirror frames...
Even the tidiest and most watchful parrot owner cannot stop the parrot all the time they chew something. Even if in time they may get sick, they don't just drop dead instantly. Can their organisms handle this to a degree? Because I'm tired of chasing my budgie around...
well depends on the stuff they are chewing for instance they cant chew on wood that has ben treated with chemicals and they usually dost eat the stuff hey chew they do it mainly for there beak but yes the plastic and wood is ok as Long as its not treated with chemicals but the rest yes it can hurt them most likely by poisoning or by getting constipated and that's a painful death.
